Policy and Planning Officer

Education Workforce Council
The Education Workforce Council (EWC) is the independent, professional regulator for the education workforce in Wales.

Working as part of the team responsible for leading the EWC’s policy, planning and compliance work, the Policy and Planning Officer maintain an up-to-date knowledge of key developments within the education sector, undertake research, collate information, and assist in developing and drafting papers and policy documents such as good practice guides for registrants. The Policy and Planning Officer will also assist in preparing and monitoring the EWC’s internal planning processes in support of its strategic, operational and equality objectives.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills and have experience of developing and maintaining administrative processes, and organising and facilitating meetings. They will have strong interpersonal and time management skills, with the ability to collate diverse information and data. Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential to the post.
