About the role
Aberaeron Comprehensive School is seeking to employ a Design & Technology Technician who is creative, practical and enthusiastic to join our successful, busy school.

The Design & Technology Technician has a valuable role to play in enabling the pupils in the classroom to succeed. The technician will ensure that resources and equipment are ready and also research topics as required to support lessons.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to be practical, creative, enthusiastic, flexible, demonstrate initiative with excellent communication/ICT skills and experience of using woodworking and metal working machines.

Ysgol Gyfun Aberaeron is a bilingual school with up to 600 pupils at the school which also has a successful 6 th form. During a visit by Estyn in 2023, they noted that 'pupils' well-being is a very high priority and a strong emphasis is placed on supporting pupils to ensure that they are happy and thrive academically.'
