The role:
To deliver high quality teaching and learning across a range of electrical and electronic engineering programmes, creating a positive environment to enable all learners to reach their full potential in terms of academic, social and personal development.

- Plan, prepare, and teach across a range of courses ensuring schemes/records of work, assignment schedules, are appropriate to the syllabus content and awarding body standards.
- Ensure teaching and learning strategies and teaching materials are planned as well as accessible to meet the varied needs of all learners, and that Welsh Government initiatives e.g. ESDGC; Welsh Ethos; ES; Employability are embedded and assessed effectively.
- Assess and monitor learner progress, including the setting of targets, maintaining records of work and achievement in line with internal and external schedules/ criteria and college targets
- Qualification (Level 6 BSc minimum) in relevant area or equivalent industrial professional qualification
- Experience of teaching electronic and electrical engineering
- Teaching/Training qualification or be prepared to work towards and/or knowledge of embedding Essential Skills into the relevant curriculum.
- Ability to deliver Courses Levels 2-5
- 46 days pro rata annual leave, plus bank holidays, and the college is closed for two weeks over the Christmas period

Full-Time Equivalent Salary: £24,049 - £47,331 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience.
