Catering Assistant - Woodlands Primary

We are looking for highly organised, enthusiastic, and motivated people to join the Schools Catering Team throughout Torfaen. This is due to the phased roll out of universal free school meals for primary school children in September.

As the successful candidate you will be able to assist in all areas of the kitchen to achieve the required standards including food preparation. Serve appetising meals, clean down the kitchen and dining hall and have some knowledge of Food Safety Regulations.

To observe and comply with Hygiene and Health and Safety procedures.

To undertake any training considered necessary for the post at any location considered suitable by the Catering Manager.

Always ensure the safe and correct use of all kitchen equipment.

You will be required to keep full and accurate entries and records in all books/forms in accordance with administrative procedures laid down by the Catering Department.
