Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC) Lead

Salary Scale 5 : £27,492 - £30,185 per annum
Full Time and Permanent


Job Purpose: A lead role in providing specialist support to students with an autistic spectrum condition diagnosis and providing support for those awaiting a diagnostic referral/ outcome. The intention of the role is to remove and reduce learning barriers, working across all Bridgend College campuses. The role will involve working with colleagues to raise awareness of Autistic Spectrum Conditions throughout the College and promote inclusive practice.

You will have a sound knowledge of the particular barriers to learning that may be experienced by students with ASC and experience of working with young people with Autistic Spectrum Conditions. You will be trained in working with people with an ASC diagnosis at Level 2 or above. Experience of working with young people within the Post 16 Education/ HE Sector is desirable.
