About the role:
• To monitor the 3+ service contract to ensure that the service is delivered to agreed specifications. Identify, document and report any areas of concern and work with service providers to agree action plans to address performance issues identified.
• To liaise with a range of Powys local authority departments and Early Years Settings to ensure successful delivery of 3+ education
About you:
Experience of monitoring against service standards
Experience of working in partnership with the statutory and voluntary agencies
Understanding of contract monitoring processes
Ability to communicate effectively with service users, managers, professionals and other agencies, in writing and virtually, for example, through Teams.
Good organisational and administrative skills
What you will do:
To be responsible for monitoring the authority's 3+ settings contract with service providers and to ensure that services are delivered to agreed specifications.
To work alongside Powys Finance department to manage the 3+ settings budget and ensure appropriate financial monitoring and reporting.
To develop positive working relationships with service provider managers in order to offer constructive support and assistance to ensure that the services which are being delivered meet contracted standards.
To work alongside the Foundation Learning Advisory Teachers to monitor ongoing quality assurance performance of service providers.
To effectively liaise with internal & external colleagues to develop systems to manage information & collate data intelligence that contributes towards the 'overall' view of the quality being provided.
To work with the admissions team to monitor capacity and ensure sufficient provision across the County.
