PLA & Franchise Quality Officer

Cardiff and Vale College
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Cardiff and Vale College for a PLA & Franchise Quality Officer. The post holder will support Quality Improvement, Quality Assurance and Sharing Best Practice within franchise and PLA provision across CAVC. Additionally, you will monitor the quality of provision of FE franchise partners to ensure excellent attainment rates and a consistent approach to quality management and learner experience in line with CAVC Service Level Agreement, policies and procedures.

Additional responsibilities of the role include:
  • Review all quality data linked to the above, including all KPIs, to identify lines of enquiry and formulate plans for improvement.
  • Meet with providers regularly to monitor the above, to ensure low risk ratings are achieved.
  • To support completion of the annual quality reviews and Quality Development Plans.
  • Undertake learning walks and IQA audits; providing feedback.
  • To identify areas of best practice to share across partners to support continuous improvement.

You will have Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate and assess complex information and data to inform Management. You will also have excellent IT Skills including competence with using Microsoft Office. You will be able to evidence Analysing forms of data and presenting in various formats and have an Awareness and understanding of post-16 issues, supported by experience

Whilst the ability to speak Welsh is not essential for the role, we would love to hear from candidates who are fluent and can engage with learners through the medium of Welsh.
