The governors wish to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join us as our ALNCO. We are looking for a dedicated and organised professional, who will lead a team of staff to ensure that our pupils with additional learning needs make good or better progress in relation to their starting points.
The successful candidate will ensure that ALN provision is managed efficiently and effectively, to ensure that all pupils with ALN are supported to overcome pre-learning barriers and are able to achieve their full potential, ensuring effective planning and support for pupils with ALN, and setting needs, judgements, pupils' desires and feelings are at the heart of the process.
The successful candidate will have vision and ambition and be an excellent and passionate educator. The candidate will be able to collaborate effectively with all stakeholders while setting a positive example for staff and pupils.
It is also essential that the successful candidate is able to communicate fluently in Welsh and English orally and in writing as well as demonstrate a demonstrated commitment towards working in a Welsh medium school.
