The role:

Are you passionate about supporting students and making a difference in education? We are looking for enthusiastic Education Support Officers to fill multiple positions across various shifts, offering flexible opportunities to help learners thrive

  • Term-time (36 weeks per annum)
  • Fixed term for 1 year
  • £12.13 - £12.39 per hour
  • Tycoch campus
Hours available:
  • (1) 19.5 hours per week
  • (2) 27.5 hours per week
  • (3) 24 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide educational, emotional, social and personal support to students with Additional Learning Needs
  • Participate in and support the provision of learning programmes as directed by the lecturers
  • Assist in the manual handling of students with personal care requirements in accordance with the individual care plan
About you:
  • GCSE passes in Maths and English (grades A-C) or equivalent are desirable
  • Basic IT skills i.e. operate a computer, familiar with Microsoft Word and the Internet
  • Knowledge and understanding of the needs of students with learning difficulties
