About the role:
Normally in a special school setting though could be in mainstream. Working under guidance, provide support in addressing the needs of pupils who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning.
The role involves working under the overall supervision of the responsible class teacher to assist and support teaching and learning of a child with additional learning needs. Also to provide for general care, safety and welfare of pupils with the class.
