Come and join our team
We are seeking to employ a Level 3 Teaching Assistant at CSTLC, the role will be predominantly based at Canolfan y Gors in Pwll but there is an expectation that the successful candidate will also work at sites in Carmarthen and Burry Port. CSTLC is comprised of three centres that educate secondary aged pupils who demonstrate social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. The successful candidate will provide emotional wellbeing support in addressing the needs of pupils who require particular help to overcome barriers to learning. As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant the post will also involve supervising pupils 1:1 where required as well as working with small groups of pupils to deliver academic support, pastoral support and guiding wellbeing programmes. There will also be the expectation to provide outreach support for students who may require it at their homes or within the local community. This will also involve working alongside families and other agencies to tailor support.
