We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Protection Officer to provide advice and support to schools to ensure compliance with UK GDPR and other data protection regulations and to support all data protection activities. This is a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing data privacy across schools.
We are looking for an individual with excellent knowledge and experience in Information Governance and Data Protection legislation. You will act as the primary point of contact for all data protection matters in schools; advise schools on data protection obligations and best practice; provide advice and guidance on Subject Access Requests (SAR); advise schools on Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA's) for new projects and operations; develop and maintain model policies for schools; ensure a robust training programme for schools on their data protection responsibilities; and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance.
