Lecturer in Automotive Engineering (Light Vehicle)

Cardiff and Vale College
Cardiff and Vale College are looking for a Lecturer in Automotive Engineering based within our City Centre Campus but with the expectation to cover other campuses as and when needed.

The successful candidate will be responsible to the Deputy Head of Department and will be expected to deliver classes at all levels at College sites. The purpose of the role is to co-ordinate, deliver and assess all aspects of programmes within the range of Light Vehicle mechanics courses up to Level 3 standard.

Applicants will have a PGCE or willingness to work towards a PGCE, must be qualified to Level 3 Light Vehicle repair and have recent experience of working in the automotive repair industry. Relevant knowledge of modern diagnostic processes and vehicle technology is essential.

Welsh language skills would be desirable for this role.
