We are looking for a highly organised, enthusiastic and motivated person to join the Schools Catering Team! Your role will be to assist in preparing and cooking a daily nutritious meal service for pupils within the school. You will need to have knowledge of safe food preparation and food safety regulations.

You will need to:

  • Have proven experience of working within a kitchen environment.
  • Be able to assist with cooking and serving appetising meals.
  • To observe and comply with Hygiene and Health and Safety procedures.
  • To undertake any training considered necessary for the post at any location considered suitable by the Catering Manager.
  • Always ensure the safe and correct use of all kitchen equipment.


You will be required to keep full and accurate entries and records in all books/forms in accordance with administrative procedures laid down by the Catering Department
