- Identification of learning needs including the needs of those with learning difficulties or disabilities
- Producing learning plans that address the issues of individual learning, learning through experience and group learning
- Producing teaching and learning materials that engage learners and reinforce learning
- Ensuring an interactive, safe and productive learning environment that fosters learners' security and confidence Identifying and addressing poor motivation and challenging inappropriate behaviour
- Contributing to the design and implementation of induction procedures
- Informing students of their entitlements and details of how to access services available to them
- Identifying an appropriate range of assessment methods that will deliver fair, valid and reliable results
- Ensuring equal opportunity in the design and application of assessment procedures
- Participate in team and committee meetings
- Assist with Curriculum development, which may include identification of consumer requirements, planning, and development of courses and course materials
- Welsh language skills are not essential but would be desirable for this role.
