We are seeking a passionate and talented individual to join the ALN Team on a secondment basis, to support capacity within the team whilst we continue to develop support for learners and families. This post is to commence as soon as possible.

This is an exciting time for a senior ALN practitioner to join the team and an opportunity to contribute to shaping the vision for the service moving forward.

The successful candidate should have significant experience of working in an ALN role at casework level and be able to demonstrate an understanding of service level work. In addition, candidates should be able to demonstrate their ability to be resilient, to be flexible and to adapt quickly to change. The post includes responsibility for delivery of the LA's statutory responsibilities outlined in the ALN Code. In addition to understanding the complexity of individual learner, family and school needs, the successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences. Developing effective working relationships with schools and headteachers is a vital part of this role.
