While mid Powys is a great place to work, it is also a truly great place to live with friendly, close knit communities and a stunning natural environment. Work life balance here is easy to achieve and we have so much to offer our local population. We have a wide range of sporting, cultural and arts opportunities for all ages. Golf, fishing, walking, cycling, mountain biking, theatres, cinema, the Hay Festival and the Royal Welsh show are all on the doorstep and a wide range of clubs and groups exist to appeal to different ages and interests. Just a little further away are the bright lights of Cardiff, Hereford, Aberystwyth and Swansea and the area
is served by the scenic Mid Wales Line and bus links to help provide easy access. Mid Powys is well known as a very safe and desirable place to live with low crime rates, affordable housing, beautiful scenery and friendly, active communities - even your car
