COOK IN CHARGE - YSGOL CLYWEDOG
GO5 £12.59 - £13.02 per hour
£24,294 - £25,119 pro rata
TERM TIME ONLY
32.5 HOURS PER WEEK
38 weeks per year
We are looking to appoint a motivated person to manage and develop the school meals catering service at Ysgol Morgan Llwyd.
The ideal candidate should be suitably qualified in catering, hold a food hygiene qualification, and have proven skills and abilities in managing a large catering operation, as well as an understanding of healthy cooking principles.
Duties include:
• To manage the school meals catering operation.
• To meet performance targets set for the service in terms of labour, food costs, stock control and service quality.
• Skilled cooking duties connected with the full range of meals provided.
• Operation of a computerised school meals administration system.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, policies and procedures.
• Administration duties associated with the operation.
