About the role
The Governors of Rhydypennau Community School are keen to appoint a motivated and dedicated individual who will be responsible for maintaining and raising pupil standards.

Ysgol Rhydypennau is a happy and successful school located in the heart of the village of Bow Street, in the north of Ceredigion. There are 8 classes in the school divided into individual year groups from Nursery to Year 6. As a professional practitioner, you will have a strong knowledge and understanding of the principles of Foundation Learning, and the ability to lead on specific areas of the curriculum.

The ability to communicate through Welsh (equivalent to Level 5 in accordance with the ALTE framework in Listening/Talking, Reading and Writing) is essential for this post. To this end, the interview panel request applications through the medium of Welsh only.

All interviews will be conducted through the medium of Welsh. The ability and enthusiasm to contribute to extracurricular activities would be advantageous. You will be required to work effectively as a team with dedicated and experienced colleagues.

The current post holder teaches in the Reception Class.
