To work as an important member of the cleaning team. Duties to include keeping designated areas clean and hygienic.
10 hours a week during the school term
GS1 Point 2 £12.26 per hour (£10.80 averaged)
Weekly Salary - £108.00

Job Description
Purpose of the post
• Ensure that the people of Gwynedd are at the heart of everything we do.
• To undertake, as part of a team, the cleaning of designated areas within the school premises to ensure that they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.
Responsibility for functions
• Equipment
Main duties
• Cleaning, washing, sweeping and vacuum cleaning.
• Emptying litter and re-cycling bins.
• Polishing and dusting of designated areas including furniture and fixtures.
• Cleaning toilets and shower areas, replenish toilet paper and soap.
• There is a requirement, when appropriate, to use powered equipment.
• The duties may vary between terms and school closure periods.
• There will, on occasions, be a requirement for you to move between areas.
• Responsibility for self-development.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety rules in the workplace in accordance with the responsibilities noted in the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Council's Health and Safety Policy.
• Operate within the Council's policies in relation to equal opportunities and equality.
• Responsible for managing information in accordance with the Council's information management guidelines. Ensure that personal information is treated in accordance with Data Protection legislation.
