Administrative and Operations Assistant - EOTAS
Hours: 32.5 hours per week (term time only)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Administrative Assistant post at Ty Castan, Library Road, Pontypridd, CF32 2DY. Pupils who attend the site are placed at the Tuition Service which is overseen by Ty Gwyn Education Centre in Aberdare. The site has recently been refurbished (having been the former Pontypridd Library) to include a range of open spaces, classrooms and communal areas, as well as kitchen and toilet facilities. There may be an occasional requirement to visit the Aberdare location.
The following responsibilities are included but a flexible approach is essential. Under the guidance of senior staff be responsible for:
- Undertaking administrative, financial, organisational processes for the Tuition Service
- Assisting the senior management team with the planning and development of support services
- Developing systems to support the person-centred planning and IDP processes
- Liaising with examination and accreditation bodies and submitting student entries
- Dealing with parents, carers and general public queries in a polite, efficient and professional manner in accordance with the ethos of the centre
