The governing body for the new primary school in Brecon, Ysgol Golwg Pen y Fan, is seeking to appoint an exceptional and inspirational class teacher to join the team. We are looking for an enthusiastic class teacher to teach a vertically grouped class of Key
Stage 2 pupils at the Mount Street Junior Campus.
Phase 1 will see the three current schools, Cradoc Primary School, Mount Street Nursery and Infant School and Mount Street Junior School, merge into one school across three campuses
from September 2024.
Phase 2 will involve the building of a new school, where all three schools will come under one roof. The senior leadership team, school staff, in conjunction with the headteacher and the
temporary governing body, will play a key role in the new school design and layout. This is planned to open in September 2026.
The senior leadership team will work with all staff across the three sites to promote an inclusive community that strives to promote the success of all our pupils. As our pupils come from a wide
range of backgrounds, the senior leadership team will work to promote equality and diversity within the school and the wider community.
Enhancing the life chances of young people is the core value that will drive every decision at the school.
Your skills, experiences and personal qualities will become an integral part of the future development of the new school. This is a crucial time of change for the three schools, and we wish you every success should you decide to apply for this post. We have a committed team of staff and Governors.
