Responsibilities include:
- To support the Senior Manager for Funded Programmes & Bids with the:
- Operation of an effective bid management process;
- Effective horizon scanning of opportunities;
- Early identification of future opportunities
- Pre-qualification of bids and tenders;
- Development of business cases and evaluation reports.
- To undertake initial analysis of tender and bid opportunities to understand terms, conditions and requirements for response and determine strategic fit, taking into consideration skills, capabilities and capacity across the College.
- Develop and maintain a resource library which can be used to support the development of collateral and content.
- Responsible for content creation:
- Supporting a regular programme of bid, promotion and publicity activity;
- Working with teams across the college to develop high quality bids and content which meet and exceed customer needs;
- Work with subject matter experts to understand, extract and write content utilising their specialist knowledge;
- Generate compliant, clear, customer-focused text and ensure materials are aligned with brand guidelines and tone of voice;
- Proof-read, critique and review all materials developed as part of the bid process.
- Maintaining excellent internal relationships with key individuals, understanding the needs of the business and ensuring that information is obtained in a timely manner.
- To work closely with the College Marketing team to produce content and collateral which supports targeted marketing campaigns to engage with industry and customers.
- Assist the Senior Manager for Funded Programmes & Bids to ensure the CRM system is kept up to date with activity and the preparation of progress reports to key stakeholders.
- Welsh language skills are not essential but would be desirable for this role.
