Fixed-term Maternity Cover, 32.5 hours per week, starting March 2025, and ending August 31, 2025

Ysgol Gymunedol Croesgoch, nestled in a beautiful rural setting, is home to a small team of dedicated staff committed to creating a nurturing and supportive environment for our pupils. As we transition to becoming a Welsh medium school, we are proud of our warm, welcoming atmosphere and supportive ethos.

We are excited to welcome an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our teaching team as a Meithrin and Derbyn Teacher, covering maternity leave starting March 2025, after the February half term.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Meithrin and Derbyn pupils in accordance with the Welsh medium curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of our youngest learners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues in both English and Welsh.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Welsh is essential, with the ability to communicate confidently in both spoken and written forms.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with relevant experience in early years and foundation phase education.
  • A passion for fostering a love of learning and supporting the holistic development of young learners.
