The Cleaning Service provides an essential service throughout the County of Carmarthenshire.

The team is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school to ensure pupils can learn in a clean and safe environment.

If you are a dedicated and meticulous individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment and can work on your own or as part of a team, we would love to hear from you.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, between 15:00 and 17:00, term time only (38 weeks a year), ideal to fit around family commitments and other roles we offer. We offer an 'annualised' pay scheme so that our staff who work term time only receive pay over 52 weeks.

Our service needs a reliable and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to assist the Area Cleaning Manager. Our ideal candidate will already have experience in a cleaning role, be able to work with and manage a team of people and have a keen eye for detail and take pride in ensuring that all areas are spotless and free of clutter.

As a Cleaning Supervisor, your duties will include training, overseeing, and coordinating the cleaning staff to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will also be responsible for maintaining the equipment, replenishing cleaning products and handling any customer feedback in a professional and effective manner.

You will also need:
  • A positive attitude and the willingness to learn new skills.
  • Flexibility and the willingness to assist with other cleaning requirements.
