The early years setting is currently being registered with CIW and therefore will only be open for 10 hours per week initially. Once the registration is confirmed, there is the potential that the contracted hours may increase.
The Headteacher and Governing Body of this thriving, rural Church in Wales Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced, inspirational and enthusiastic Pre-School Setting Leader for our Pre-School. The post will involve delivering quality Pre-School play centred learning and care in line with the New Curriculum for Wales. A commitment to working as a team
member both within the setting and linking with school staff.

We are looking for an inspirational, creative and outstanding Nursery Setting Leader who can:
*Co-ordinate and be responsible for the day to day running of the setting ensuring high quality provision
*Be responsible for the planning, review and delivery of good quality play based experiences / the Foundation Phase curriculum and with pupil care, health, safety, welfare, emotional and behaviour support.
*Be responsible for the self evaluation of provision in line with Estyn guidance
*Provide a warm and welcoming environment within the setting where children and carers can feel valued and obtain positive help and support from a range of activities.
*Be responsible for the management of the learning environment
*Be responsible for observation, assessments and record-keeping e.g. provide relevant verbal information to contribute to the planning, observation and evaluation, identifying the next step in the children's learning. To inform parents of children's progress and provide annual reports as required.
*Manage children's behaviour
*Undertake necessary administrative tasks including returns and pupil numbers.
*Ensure the setting is well organised and maintained at all times.
*Ensure provision meets CSSIW policies, procedures and guidelines.
