G03 £6,909 - £7,017 per annum
12.75 hours per week
Temporary until 31/03/2025 in the first instance
To commence January 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter

Ysgol Yr Hafod, Johnstown are looking to recruit a Level 1 Teaching Assistant to work every morning (8.45am - 11.30am) in our Early Years Department.
We are looking for someone who:
• Is passionate about working with children and supporting their early development
• Promotes high levels of wellbeing and positive behaviour with all children
• Has a good understanding of the importance of play to support learning and will actively support children's play.
• Can work under the guidance of the class teacher and show initiative
• Will help to deliver programmes to support literacy and numeracy
• Will support the development and maintaining of areas of continuous provision
• Has good communication skills with both children and adults
• Will work well as part of a large team.
