To take responsibility for the effective delivery of the College's Exam Access Arrangements (Reasonable Adjustments) process, ensuring full compliance with JCQ regulations and awarding body requirements.
The post holder will carry out the process from the beginning to the end, documenting the initial learner's declaration of need and gathering supporting evidence,
through decision-making, arranging assessments and making awarding body applications, to communicating outcomes to learners and the Exam Team within required deadlines.
The post holder will ensure that all approved arrangements are accurately recorded and maintained to support the effective delivery of examinations and regulatory compliance.
The ability to use the Welsh language at a basic level (or willingness to undertake training) is desirable.
Applications may be submitted in Welsh and will not be treated less favourably than applications submitted in English.
Requirements & Compliance
- Safeguarding: Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check and EWC registration (costs covered by the candidate).
- Qualifications: Lecturers must hold or be willing to achieve a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) within a set period.
