APPOINTMENT OF HEADTEACHER
Llangors Church in Wales Primary School, Llangors, Powys, LD37UB
Full-time post - required for 1st April 2025 or as soon as possible after
IRS Group 1C Salary L8 - L14
The governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed headteacher to maintain and develop this forward-looking, innovative primary school. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to further develop their leadership experience and skills. This role also includes a teaching commitment, which enables the successful candidate to be hands on in the delivery and development of the Curriculum for Wales.

• Proven leadership and management skills that demonstratively motivate staff and pupils to reach their full potential.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Excellent teaching skills (the position requires a 0.4 teaching commitment).
• The ability to promote effective teamwork.
• High expectations of both pupils and staff.
• The ability to promote the Christian ethos within the school.
• Evidence of successful financial management and school budgeting.
• Proven digital competency.
• A thorough knowledge of all elements of the Curriculum for Wales.
• That they have NPQH or are a returning headteacher.
