37 Hours Per Week, 52 Weeks Per Year
The Governing Body of Lliswerry Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced, conscientious and professional caretaker.
We are looking for someone who will work in partnership with the whole school team to ensure our school reflects our values.
Lliswerry Primary School is a large inclusive multicultural school with strong community partnerships. We have a fully accessible single storey building set withinextensive grounds with a variety of facilities.
The successful candidate:
- Will show a genuine commitment to the overall security, maintenance and development of the school site.
- Must be prepared to work flexibly to ensure that the school functions with the appropriate caretaking support. On occasion it may be necessary to secure the site at a later time, due to school concerts, meetings etc.
The normal working week would be 37 hours as a split shift during term time. E.g.
Mon - Thurs: 6.30 -10am / 2.15 - 6.15pm Fri: 6.30 - 9.45am / 2.15 - 6pm.
NB: Annual leave must be taken during school closure periods.
The successful applicant would be required to start as soon as possible.
This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).
