PAY GRADE - L05 (Point range 14 - 19)
To start March 2025
15 hours a week, Term Time Only, Permanent
The Governing Body of the Dee Valley Federation wish to appoint an innovative and highly organised Administration Assistant to work in Pentre Church in Wales School. The school is part of a Federation which also includes Garth CP School and Froncysyllte CP School.
Pentre Church in Wales School is located in the village of Pentre, which is situated near Chirk close to the Wrexham-Denbighshire border just outside Llangollen. The school boasts stunning views of the local area and is a beautiful place to work. The school has close links with the local community, especially St Mary's Church in Chirk. We are hopeful that the successful candidate will be able to work on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, but we are willing to be flexible for the right candidate. Training will be offered to the successful candidate where there may be gaps in knowledge of current systems.
The successful candidate will have:
• Very good numeracy/literacy skills
• Experience of development, management and operation of administrative systems
• Very good ICT skills
• The ability to relate well to children and adults
• The ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding school roles and responsibilities and their own position within these
• The ability to self-evaluate learning needs and actively seek learning opportunities
• To be supportive of the Federation ethos.
• A positive can do attitude
• Good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Be able to support our Christian Ethos
Applicants should outline the experience and expertisethey would bring to this role.
