Teaching Assistant Level 2 - Maendy Primary School

Salary: £26,824 - £28,598 Pro Rata | Grade 4

32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Fixed term until 31 st August 2027

Start date: 1 st September 2026

Due to increasing pupil numbers, Maendy Primary are seeking to appoint two highly motivated and inspirational Level 2 Teaching Assistants. The successful applicant needs to be flexible and continually prepared to work across the primary setting. They should be reliable, resilient and flexible and work well as part of a team.

Maendy Primary School is a nurturing and caring school at the heart of the community. The school hosts two local authority ALN Resource Bases, a BESD provision, and a Nursery provision. The successful candidate will be joining Maendy Primary at a very exciting time. We moved into our new school building in May last year, a development which has provided us with the opportunity to expand our school family and increase pupil numbers.

• Experience of children, including children with special educational needs;
• Ability to support pupil's emotional wellbeing / development;
• The ability to follow instruction and have a desire to further their professional development;
• Enthusiasm and a conscientious approach;
• The ability to embrace change and contribute to school development
