The new flexible programme will create life changing opportunities for young people aged 16 – 18 to reach their full potential and take their first steps into the world of work. Here at Itec we are looking to recruit a motivated individual to join our growing business to lead, develop, Implement and manage Itec’s Jobs Growth Wales + provision. If your passionate about enhancing learners’ skills through ensuring a quality training provision Itec could be the place for you.
Salary Banding: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum depending on experience
Location: Covering Southeast Wales
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Hours of work: - Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 4:30pm
What are the core responsibilities of this role?
• Responsible for maximising sustainable performance targets by managing the Jobs Growth Wales + delivery model.
• Driving performance to ensure it meets the needs of all learners across all locations.
• Accountable for demonstrating contractual compliance through quality measures and auditable processes.
• Responsible for the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of our centres.
• Responsible for the management of our Sub-Contractors delivering the provision.
• Responsible for promoting and managing the safeguarding of learners and being conversant with our policies and procedures for the welfare, protection and safeguarding of vulnerable learners.
• Responsible for ensuring a positive learner service, dealing with complaints in an effective and timely manner.
• Accountable for working in partnership with the Quality team to implement all quality improvements such as the Estyn framework, Welsh Action Plan and Employee Observation grading.
• Conducting monthly caseload reviews with our teams to maximise performance and training requirements
• Development of the strategic planning for all operational activities and future contracts.
• Accountable for the continual evaluation, self-assessment, and quality improvement planning.
• Responsible for management information analysis and reporting
• Accountable for forecasting, departmental income and cost control for the centre / outreach.
• Responsible for ensuring high quality standards are maintained at all times at the centre/ outreach and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Working closely with the Health & Safety Manager ensuing all health and safety matters are reported and resolved in a timely manner.
• Line management responsibilities of direct reports

• Safeguarding & Prevent Knowledge and experience/

• Knowledge of qualifications and award body criteria
This role is subject to a DBS check. The cost of the DBS check will be met by the company
The successful appointment will need to be self-registered with the Education Workforce Council as a Work-Based Learning Practitioner
