ASSISTANT BEHAVIOUR ANALYST
Ysgol y Gogarth is an Additional Learning Needs (ALN) school for pupils between the ages of 3 and 19, situated in Llandudno, North Wales. We are recruiting an assistant behaviour analyst to support us in delivering high-quality behaviour analysis across the school. At Ysgol y Gogarth behaviour analysts collaborate with teachers, teaching assistants, and other professionals to improve teaching and learning for all pupils.
Assistant behaviour analysts work alongside behaviour analysts to complete functional
assessments, and support with the writing of effective function-based behaviour plans.
Assistant behaviour analysts will also complete curriculum assessments and collect baseline data to support with the writing of bespoke skill development plans, including
early years teaching plans and functional life skills programmes.
The team aims to teach pupils the skills they need to reach their full potential, and reduce any barriers to learning to ensure the pupils can engage fully in school life.

The vacancy offers an excellent and unique opportunity to gain valuable behavioural experience within an ALN school. The successful candidates will join a dedicated team of
Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBAs) who will provide on-going training, support
and supervision. BCBA or UKBA(cert) supervision will be provided for candidates working towards certification.
