The Learner Support Assistant is a key role in our learners’ journey whilst they undertake a course with us. You will be supporting our learners within the Creative Arts and Construction curriculum provision, which includes our ‘School Link’ provision for 14 to 16 year olds, which is the group of learners this role will be supporting.
This is a hands on role where you will be working under the direction of the course tutor or the Learner Services Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and communications skills, who has experience working with learners with a wide range of learning difficulties and/or disability including those with challenging behavior. Someone who is patient, adaptability, creative and motivate non-traditional learners
Qualifications
Essential – Level 3 standard of Education, Level 2 Learning Support Assistant or equivalent – willing to work towards.
