Examination Invigilator, Dolgellau

Salary: £15.10 per hour (Including holiday pay)

The Examination unit is looking to recruit additional Exam Invigilators to to support the Examinations Team by providing invigilation for all types of Exams. These appointments are essential in the provision of an efficient and effective service for all examinations held at the college. Candidates will need to be confident in addressing large numbers of students, well organised, precise, calm under pressure, alert, observant and good communicators.

Applicants will need to be very flexible with regards their availability for work.

Previous experience of invigilation would be desirable but not essential as in addition to training, newly-appointed invigilators will be given the experience of 'shadowing' experienced invigilators.

Holiday Entitlement

• 28 days leave per annum, rising to 32 days after 5 full holiday years' continuous service (01 September to 31 August).

• All normally observed public holidays, determined annually.

• Up to 5 days efficiency closure days per annum, determined annually.

• Part Time contracts will receive a pro rata entitlement to the above.
