Working in partnership with the Diocese of Menevia and Pembrokeshire County Council, the governing body of this new federation of Catholic primary schools is looking to appoint an outstanding classroom teacher.
Whilst the vacancy is at St Teilo's Catholic School, the successful candidate will be appointed to 'The Federation of Mary Immaculate and St. Teilos Catholic Primary Schools'
The schools
Mary Immaculate Catholic Primary (NOR 202) is situated in the lively county town of Haverfordwest and has a "wonderfully caring and nurturing ethos" (ESTYN March 2023).
St. Teilo's Catholic Primary (NOR 81) is situated in the picturesque seaside town of Tenby and has a "clear vision [..] and values every pupil as an individual" (ESTYN 2018).
The successful candidate
The successful candidate will be appointed to the federation but will work initially at the St Teilo's campus. You will be enthusiastic, reflective and dedicated to improving your own practice. Experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply.
The successful candidate will meet the criteria of the job description and:
- preferably have a knowledge of the Catholic faith and be prepared to teach the Catholic RE curriculum,
- be a successful primary practitioner with enthusiasm for the education of pupils in your care,
- be dedicated to children's learning and development, showing the ability to apply this knowledge to ensure the best outcomes for all learners,
- have knowledge and understanding of current pedagogic practice and be able to apply these to your pupils' learning,
- be kind, patient and sympathetic.
