LANGUAGE IMMERSION TEACHER (Foundation Phase)
PART TIME TEMPORARY POST UNTIL 31.03.2026.
Pembrokeshire County Council are seeking to employ a teacher to join the workforce of the Language Centres and Welsh Education Service of the Local Authority to collaborate with primary Welsh medium schools to support pupils with the acquisition of Welsh.
This is an exciting opportunity for continued professional learning within an innovative Immersive Education System for latecomers in Pembrokeshire. Salary is paid in accordance with the Teacher Pay Scale (£32,433 - £49,944) according to experience and qualification.
The ability to teach effectively through the medium of English and Welsh is essential to the job. The schools operate in accordance with their Language Policy. The candidates will need to reach the linguistic level set out in the Person Specification.
