Job description
32.5 hours per week

Up to twelve months, or until the post holder returns whichever is earlier

The Governors of Ysgol Bryn Castell wish to appoint a motivated teacher to cover a maternity leave up to twelve months, or until the post holder returns (whichever is earlier), with experience of teaching pupils with behaviour, emotional and social difficulties including autism and associated additional learning needs.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent classroom practice, be experienced in leading an area of the curriculum and have an understanding of pupils with additional learning needs in a Special School environment. This post includes teaching a range of subjects to pupils across the school.

The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.

Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.

An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
