Career Opportunity for a Middle Leader
Class teacher at MPS/UPS & TLR 2b & 1 SEN point
Start date - September 2025
The Governing Body of Ysgol Penmaes are looking for an innovative, committed and inspiring teacher to work as a middle leader with the SLT and the relevant AoLE teams, to hold some responsibility and accountability for leading, and managing two areas of learning and experience, in addition to being a full time teacher. The specific AoLEs designated will depend on the skills and experience of the successful candidate. Please note that the AoLE leads are currently distributed as follows:
● LLC and Humanities
● Expressive Arts and Health & Wellbeing
● Maths & Numeracy and Science & Technology
This is a great opportunity to make an impact, develop collaboration skills and to play an active part in the strategic direction of the school.
As part of this role you will work closely with the other two TLR holders. Areas of Learning and Experience teams will also support the development of each AoLE.
You will also work in collaboration with the Deputy Headteacher- curriculum lead for the school as well as with the Assistant Headteacher who is instrumental in the development of whole school data.
