Role Title: Nursery Manager

Location: Deeside

Contract Type: Permanent: Full Time

Salary: £50,320 - £56,899

We currently have a vacancy for a Nursery Manager at our Toybox Nursery.

The Nursery manager will lead and manage the Toybox Nursery at Coleg Cambria Deeside, ensuring the highest quality of early years education and care for children in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. The Nursery Manager will oversee the daily operations, staff management, regulatory compliance, and the overall development and well-being of children in the setting.

The Toybox nursery upholds the college's values of excellence, innovation, and inclusivity, fostering a culture that prioritises respect, well-being, and community engagement. The Nursery Manager will play a vital role in ensuring that the provision aligns with these values, delivering an enriching learning environment that supports every child's potential while embracing Welsh language and culture. This role also involves working collaboratively with the wider college community, including students on placement, to enhance learning and professional development opportunities.

Interviews are scheduled to take place at the Deeside Campus on 14th April.

Essential Requirements

• NNEB qualification or equivalent
  
• Educated to a minimum Level 4 qualification
  
• Management Qualification or be prepared to work towards
  
• Able to demonstrate previous experience of or the ability to lead, coach and inspire a team
  
• Comprehensive experience within the relevant sector
  
• Ability to demonstrate previous experience and ability to manage budgets of varying sizes
  
• Able to demonstrate a commitment to and awareness of the importance of Safeguarding
  
• Up to date first aid certificate
  

Welsh language skills are desirable for this position.
