Required as soon as possible a full time temporary excellent School Support Officer, based at Ysgol Glan-y-Mor School, to support and manage the school attendance systems and financial support, until March 2026 initially.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role in our school. Reporting to a member of the leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient input/extraction of attendance data on SIMS and supporting financial processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our school and exert a positive influence over the ethos of the school and wider school community.

The successful candidate will:
  • Support the attendance system of the school through data entry, analysis and direct communication with parents and pupils, and other related issues.
  • Provide administrative support in our busy school office/ receptionist environment.

Successful candidates will also be expected to:
  • Provide general financial support.
  • Provide administrative support to Heads of Department and other leaders in the school.
  • Undertake a range of administrative procedures as are needed.
  • Fully contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school.
  • Appreciate and support the role of other professionals who work with the school.
  • Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required.
  • Amongst other duties they will also assist in the provision of refreshments for meetings and guests.
