The Governing body wish to appoint a Clerk to the Governing Body for the Milford Haven School. You will be accountable to the Governing Body, working effectively with the Chair of Governors and the Headteacher. The Clerk will be responsible for advising the Governing Body on constitutional matters, duties and powers and will work within the broad current legislative framework. They will secure the continuity of governing body business and observe confidentiality requirements.There are approximately 20 meetings throughout the academic year. For the majority of the role you will be responsible for organising and minuting these.
Milford Haven is situated on the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast in an area where housing is inexpensive and the quality of life is second to none. We are an 11-16 school with over 1090 pupils on roll and is continuing to increase in future years.
