This is a fixed-term position to cover maternity leave. The role offers 28.10 hours per week. Hours are negotiable.Come and take a key role in a friendly and collaborative department in a successful all age school in one of the most beautiful settings in Wales.
Ysgol Penrhyn Dewi VA is a 3-16 Church in Wales school that serves the historic city of St Davids and surrounding areas. Based in the picturesque surroundings of the Pembrokeshire National Park, the school is a caring, inclusive and welcoming environment where pupils and staff are proud of the Christian and community ethos. The school has strong links with the local community where there are extensive opportunities for outdoor activities, social and cultural activities.
The school is looking to appoint a forward thinking and innovative practitioner who is passionate about education and their subject and who would like the opportunity to inspire the next generation. Hospitality and Catering is an extremely popular subject within the school.
Applications are most welcome and encouraged from both primary and secondary qualified teachers who are willing to teach Food and Nutrition from years 6-9, and Hospitality and Catering at GCSE level. All teaching specialisms will be considered, and appropriate training will be provided as required. A willingness to offer an additional subject, possibly PE would be an advantage.
