35-hour Full time Childcare Worker Post
This is a temporary post subject to confirmation of funding and a satisfactory 3 months' probation period.
Waun Wen Primary is an inclusive school where every child's individual strength and need are valued and celebrated. We see our role as being very much at the heart of the local community with the Flying Start provision helping to cement this role as we engage with even more families and even younger children.
Flying Start is a Welsh Government initiative, which seeks to offer support for targeted pre-school children and their families in Swansea. Flying Start offers children access to high quality childcare as part of a multi-agency team approach, in order to improve outcomes in preparation for school and the long term.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Flying Start Childcare Worker to become part of our dedicated team. The post will include supporting the Childcare Manager and Senior Childcare Worker to ensure that the childcare provided is of the highest quality to enhance the all-round development of our children.
