Temporary Teaching Assistant – Level 3 (Maternity Cover)
Hours: 27 ¾ (Term Time only)
Salary: Grade 6 (£27,269 x 65.88%)
Start Date: Monday 7th June 2025
The Governing Body wishes to appoint a Temporary Teaching Assistant to cover a maternity leave in our Nursery/Reception class and to complement our existing team.
Perthcelyn Community Primary School is situated in Perthcelyn, Mountain Ash. We currently have 128 pupils on roll aged between 3 and 11 (which include 19 pupils who access our two ASD Learning Support Classes).

The successful candidate will need to:
- Show initiative, be motivated, and show a sound understanding of pupil progress.

- Support teachers in preparing resources and creating a stimulating learning environment.

- Contribute to the wider life of the school.
- Be committed to our school’s Vision, Mission, Values and Aims.
