About us
The Learning Links Team work in partnership with schools and other partners to raise the achievement of targeted pupils. The team are part of the Standards and Provision Team, within the Directorate of Learning and Skills.

The Learning Links Team are responsible for the following groups of pupils.

  • Looked after children (CLA)

  • Previously looked after children, including those that have been adopted

  • Pupils of Traveller heritage

  • Pupils who are multilingual

  • Pupils from the global majority

  • Pupils from Services families

  • Young carers

    About the role
    Pay Details: Grade 5, SCP 8-12, £25,992 - £27,711, £13.47 - £14.36 (Hourly Rate)

    Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks, Monday - Friday

    Main Place of Work: Civic Offices and working from home

    Temporary Reason: This post is grant funded.

    Description: Maintain procedures for the monitoring of the targeted pupils and Personal Education Plans (PEPs), in all schools and education settings
    About you
    You will need:

    • To maintain procedures for gathering the Personal Education Plans (PEPs), in line with statutory timescales and in accordance with the requirements of legislation and guidance

    • To develop and advise schools and colleagues regarding all PEPs, and other documentation related to targeted learners.

    • To evaluate information on targeted learners to produce timely and accurate performance data

    • Excellent numeracy/literacy skills.

    • Evidence of commitment to continuing professional development

    • ICT skills
