Llangattock Church in Wales Primary School is a Voluntary Aided, community focussed Church school for children aged 4-11 years. Our building, set in beautiful surroundings in South Powys, currently consists of four classes and a 3+ setting. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, conscientious teacher to join the staff at our warm, friendly and successful school.
We are looking for a teacher who;
• has a genuine passion for teaching and learning, demonstrating enthusiasm that inspires learners.
• is a committed team player with excellent organisational skills, with the ability to take responsibility for their own practice and manage time effectively.
• has a clear understanding of the Curriculum for Wales.
• has an excellent knowledge and understanding of skills development and pedagogy.
• has experience of teaching across different year groups, showcasing versatility and adaptability.
• has high expectations of achievement and a commitment to raising standards.
• has proficiency in Welsh to foster a bilingual learning environment.
• has experience in supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), demonstrating a commitment to inclusive education.
• demonstrates a willingness to actively participate within the wider school life, contributing to extra curricular activities and community events.
• has a self-motivated attitude towards professional development, with a continuous desire to learn and grow.
• can embrace and support our Christian ethos and values.
