Do you wish to be part of a forward thinking, vibrant, happy school? The children, staff and Governing Body of Monnow Primary school are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and innovative teacher with a passion for working with pupils with additional leaning needs.

Monnow Primary School is in the heart of Bettws and as a community school we are dedicated to making a positive difference for our learners and their families, with Cynefin being central to our vision and values.

You will be required to take up post from September 2025. As a growing school, the appointment is for a fixed term of 1 year in the first instance.

We are seeking an excellent practitioner who:

- Has a passion for making a difference for our most vulnerable learners within an inclusive environment.
- Is able to demonstrate creative flair in contributing to the evolving design of the school curriculum which is tailored to meet a diverse range of ALN needs.
- Is innovative in providing authentic awe and wonder learning experiences.
- Is nurturing and uses a range of teaching styles to support children in achieving their full potential as healthy, confident individuals.
- Has a commitment to embrace community partnerships and take an active role in fostering trusting relationships with parents and all stakeholders.
- Is able to demonstrate an ambition as a reflective practitioner, committed to professional learning and inquiry, with a focus on complex, learning and social and emotional needs.
