The Governing Body of Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Rhydywaun wishes to appoint a dedicated and qualified Business Manager to take up a full-time post at the school.

The successful candidate is expected to be passionate about the role and ready to contribute to an ambitious school ethos and vision.

The Business Manager reports directly to the Senior Leadership Team and will be responsible under an agreed line management process for the efficient and high-quality running of the school budget and campus. The role will support and manage the continuation of an excellent, highly organised work and learning environment that can be shared by the whole school community.

Ysgol Rhydywaun is a happy and successful school established in 1995 that provides Welsh medium education for the young people of the Merthyr Tydfil and Cynon Valley area. It is located on the outskirts of Aberdare town on a fantastic, modern campus. Extension work on site has been completed with a new 3G pitch, sports hall and a new block of state-of-the-art teaching rooms. There are now over 1000 pupils at the school, with steady growth predicted over the next few years. With the dynamic and aspirational nature of the school, there are a range of opportunities to develop skills, and experiences moving forward.
